About Our Food Bank
Our Mission, Goals, & Values
We aim to please the Lord in everything including our food bank. Its our desire in helping others by providing food for the hungry. We want to help the lest fortunate this is why our food bank exists. Our food bank is open every Thursday from 1 pm to 5 pm. You can call us at 705-718-5680. When people come to our food bank we are not only ready to distribute food but we are also willing to pray for individuals if they are suffering spiritually as well. We believe God cares also for the soul as well as the body. It is because we love the Lord that we do this. When we do this we are reminded that it is as if we are doing this unto Jesus (Matthew 25: 34-40).
Our Community
We live in the community of Thornton, Ont and many in our surrounding area are in need of food and other necessities of life. If you desire to donate items to our food bank so we can provide it unto those in need please stop by on Thursdays from 1pm – 5pm. If you desire to give an offering, donation or gifts to our food bank, please call us at 705-718-5680. We accept e-transfers, cash, and Cheques made payable to “New Life Community Christian Church” and E-transfers to: newlifethornton2@gmail.com
